For high temperature firing beads, hanging objects and other kiln projects.
These metal rods are made of High Temperature Kanthal A1 or 875 alloy to handle high kiln temperatures.
Rod sagging will occur at elevated temperatures. The wire rod has a melting point of 2500°F but the amount of rod sagging will be affected by a number of factors such as the firing temperature, the weight of the beads, and the distance between the rod supports.
You may need to experiment a bit to determine if the rod will work for you.
